A Companion Guide to Organizing Your Personal Property
Foreword:
Much like our Guidebook on Construction, the second book in our Recovery Series - our Guide to Organizing Personal Property - is equally…enormous. That’s because we have quite a bit to cover given all the many types of services, rooms, items and materials that may be involved.
Similar to Construction, we will begin by introducing a number of Professionals and Artisans that you may come across as you remodel, rebuild or simply update your home. We will then dive into building an inventory of personal property beginning with a number of chapters outlining some of the more common rooms and areas throughout a home - such as bedrooms, kitchens and patios. We will walk through the most common items in those spaces - such as furniture or bedding - so we can build the foundation to our inventory. We will then move onto even more chapters surrounding separate item groupings that can be found throughout your home. This includes property like sporting goods and home decore that might not have a natural room “home-base” but should definitely be accounted for nonetheless.
Point being, we’ve got quite a bit of property to cover, so let’s start (virtually) walking around and taking notes. Let’s build that inventory…
